Holly and Bad Numbers
Hinduism has great studies of all subjects and very important basic principals are taught with the help of holly prayers and performances. In numerology, numbers 3,5,7,9,11,21 etc are considered the holly numbers, and used while performing vaidik pooja, offering prayers or prassad etc. Not because they are odd numbers but they are of increasing value [as prime numbers] when added or while multiplying.
Holly Numbers.
Take Number 2. 2x2=4, 2x3=6, 2x4=8, 2x5=10=1, 2x6=12=3, 2x7=14=5. Prime value increases up to 4th calculation then it again stars with value 1 and go on increasing. However, after figure 1, figure 3 is considered best.
Like take Number 3. [A] 3x4=12, is again 3 [1+2], [B] 3x5=15, is 6 [bauble value of 3], 3x6=18, is 9 [triple value of 3]. So figure 3 increases multiple times of its value. Hence number 3 is best holy figure.
Take Number 5. [A] 5x2=10, is 1, value decreases. [B] 5x3=15, is 6. Value marginally increases. [C] 5x4=20, is 2. Again value reduces. [D] 5x5=25, is 7, value increases by 2 only. So number 5 is increasing alternatively by value 1 only during multiplication. Hence it is of less important than other holly figures .
Take Number 7. [A] 7x2=14, is 5, reduced values. [B] 7x3=21, is 3, reduced value. [C] 7x4=28, is 1 [2+8=10=1] reduced value. [D] 7x5=35, is 8, increase by 1. [E] 7x6=42, is 6. [E] 7x7=49, is 13 is finally 4. So like this 7x8=56=11=2, 7x9=63=9. So number 7, although shows more reducing values, has most of HOLLY FIGURES! Hence it is second best figure.
Number 9. [A] 9x2=18=9, 9x3=27=9, 9x4=36=9----. It always is 9, constant. Hence number 9 is best holiest number of all.
Number 11. [B] 11x2=22=4, 11x3=33=6, 11x4=44=8. The number is increasing by 2 till 4th calculation than it starts with 1 and again increases by 2. So number 11 is a holly number.
Number 21. [A] 21x2=42=6, [B] 21x3=63=9, [C] 21x4=84=12=3, [D] 21x5=105=6, [E] 21x6=126=9, [F] 21x7=147=12=3. Again number 21 has holiest numbers like 3 and 9. So 21 is also among best holiest number.
Bad Number.
The number 8 is considered as bad as it reduces values [as prime numbers] when added or multiply.
Number 8. 8x2=16=7, 8x3=24=6, 8x4=32=6, 8x5=40=4, 8x6=48=12=3, 8x7=56=11=2 etc. It never reaches it’s won prime number till add/multiply by 9. 8x9=72=9. This is also a reason to consider number 9 as best of all the holly number. Any number multiplies by 9 gives prime number 9 only.

This now generally known numerology , but Hindu’s were knowing it almost 3000 years back.
